Penn Community Bank grant fights food insecurity

Posted

Garden of Health founder Carol Bauer accepts a check from Penn Community Bank Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility & Government Affairs Kelly Boyle and Multi-Site Manager Melanie Scholl. The North Wales-based nonprofit partners with over 60 hunger relief agencies in Montgomery County and works with two large organizations in Bucks County to distribute food, including eggs, meat, dairy, produce and shelf-stable items. The funding will assist the organization’s warehouse location as well as its food production work at its farm property in Hatfield.
