Trenton City Museum hosts Sundaes on the Veranda

Posted

Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie will serve up its annual Sundaes on the Veranda from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 30.

In addition to all the classic toppings at this family-friendly ice cream social, attendees can choose a unique, artisan-made ceramic bowl to take home. New this year, sundaes are free for children 6 and under who are accompanied by a paid adult; the cost is $20 for a sundae in a handmade ceramic bow; $10 for a sundae in a disposable bowl. Admission can be reserved in advance at ellarsie.org/sundaes or paid at the door.

While at Sundaes on the Veranda, attendees who step inside the museum will be dazzled by the last day of the exhibition “Space & Clutter,” curated by Janis Purcell, and featuring the detailed works of Jackie Lima, David Z. Orban, and Paul Smith.

Located in Trenton’s lush, historic Cadwalader Park, Trenton City Museum is accessible by car from Parkside Avenue and has ample parking alongside the museum. It is open Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m., and Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m. While there is no admission charge, donations in support of the museum’s mission and programs are appreciated.
