Volunteers with the Travis Manion Foundation commemorated Memorial Day at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on Monday by placing handcrafted commemorative tokens at the resting places of fallen heroes.

TMF hosted the event as part of The Honor Project, an annual initiative to honor the sacrifices of the country’s military heroes over Memorial Day weekend.

For the third consecutive year, Philadelphia-based SimpleTire donated $5,000 to TMF to support volunteers participating in The Honor Project at the national cemetery in Upper Makefield.
