Posted

Four new officers recently joined the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, bringing the total number of “sworn personnel” to 28, officials said.

Three of the new officers are women, making the number of females on the force six, or approximately 21% of the department.

Officers Alicia Belli, Juliana Greco and Danielle DeSimone were sworn in June 26. Officer Brian Keenan took his oath on June 20.

Belli, a graduate of the Montgomery County Police Academy, has been a full-time officer at Lehigh University since 2023.

Greco graduated from the Delaware County Police Academy. She’s been serving since last year as a part-time officer with the North Wales Borough Police Department.

DeSimone comes to CBRPD from the Northampton Township Police Department where she was on the force since 2022. A graduate of the Temple Police Academy, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master’s degree in criminal justice.

A graduate of the Philadelphia Police Academy and a member of the Philadelphia Police Department since 2016, Keenan holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

The CPRPD is overseen by a police commission comprised of elected officials from Doylestown, Chalfont and New Britain boroughs, the three communities the department serves.
