Fifth grade students from Jamison Elementary School walked to the Bridges at Warwick on June 7 to share their homemade carnival games with the residents.
The carnival is the culmination of a yearlong friendship between the fifth graders and the seniors. It was also the five-year anniversary of the event.
The students walk to the Bridges at Warwick twice a month, once to share in an event and one time a month about 20 students come in a “birthday brigade” to celebrate the seniors’ birthdays that month.
