Posted

Cairn University’s School of Music will present its annual String Day 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.

Seventh through 12th grade students will be divided into chamber ensemble groups to practice repertoire under faculty instruction. After watching a short faculty recital, the chamber ensembles will also perform what they have learned.

String Day participants will learn under the instruction of Cairn University string faculty including Natalie DaSilva (violin), Erik Jones (cello) and Hannah Pak (viola).

Registration is $10 per student, but string teachers are welcome to attend free of charge to connect with other teachers and musicians. Register by Nov. 5 at cairn.edu/string-day.

It takes place in Holmes Hall on the Cairn campus, 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne.
