Posted

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Doylestown is the recipient of the 2022 Archdiocesan School of Distinct Instruction award in both academic growth and exceeding potential. OLMC School also received this award in 2019 and 2021.

The School of Distinct Instruction designation is based on student scores from Terra Nova standardized testing and was presented to OLMC School on Sept. 8 by Dr. Andrew McLaughlin, secretary of elementary education, and the Most Rev. Michael Fitzgerald, auxiliary bishop of Philadelphia overseeing Catholic Education.

Dawn Parker, principal, said that she is “blessed to work with such a dedicated faculty and staff and is proud of all her students who have worked so hard throughout the school year. “It is an honor to receive this award on their behalf,” she added.
