MBIT students win SkillsUSA medals

Students from various technical schools throughout the nation who received gold medals in their state competitions, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), competed in the 2021 SkillsUSA National Competitions this month.
MBIT had 12 gold medal winners who competed in nationals. This was the largest number of MBIT students competing in the national competitions.

Michael Christian from the automotive technology program earned a silver medal at SkillsUSA national competition in Maintenance Light Repair competition. In addition, two teams finish in the top nine: the digital film team of William Kubacki and Luke Whitney both from the multimedia Technology program and the web design team of Hayden Minnigh and Enrique DeLeon both from the web design and interactive media program.
SkillsUSA is the national organization for students in trade, industrial, and technical education. It sponsors the SkillsUSA Championships annually to recognize the achievements of career and technical students, and to encourage them to strive for excellence and pride in their chosen occupations.
