Interns serve their community through Summer Youth Corps program

Foundations Community Partnership’s Summer Youth Corps Program (SYC) provides a 10-week service learning placement with select Bucks County non-profit human service organizations for a paid internship experience and the opportunity to earn college credits. Interns use both academic and social skills to address community needs and solve problems in the real world, benefiting their host agencies and clients.

Interns use both academic and social skills to address community needs and solve problems in the real world, benefiting their host agencies and clients.

The participants who successfully completed the program and made a positive impact in their community are, Jillian Sinton at Snipes Farm & Education Center; Sarah Mayer at Potential Inc.; Emma Myers, at Special Equestrians; Katie Probst, at Bucks County Opportunity Council; Alison Freund, at Habitat for Humanity; Lukas Coombs, at Boys Scouts of America; Demetrius Green, at YWCA Bucks County; Matthew Nieves-Hoblin, at Michener Art Museum; Julia Bunch, at Travis Manion Foundation.
