The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Peace and Justice Ministry presents We Thirst, an educational program on addiction that unites leading research with a comprehensive understanding of the human person, 7-9 p.m. Thursdays through Nov. 13.
The program, immersed in the Christian perspective, is presented in a way that is inspirational and hopeful. We Thirst applies to every addiction.
Presented by Nina Marie Corona, the program schedule is: psychology, Oct. 23; sociology, Oct. 30; spirituality, Nov. 6; and action, Nov. 13.
Prepay the $30 fee by mailing or bringing a check to the church rectory; make checks payable to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (write “We Thirst” in the memo line). Scholarships are available. Walk-ins are welcome.
The program takes place in St. Mary’s Hall at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 235 E. State St., Doylestown.
