“Vegetable Gardening 101” will be the featured program at the monthly meeting of the Trevose Horticultural Society on Tuesday.
Master Gardener Annie Milionis will cover choosing a site, soil testing and Ph, nutrients and amendments and types of gardening — in ground, raised beds, or containers. She’ll also provide insights on maximizing the growing seasons.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Bensalem Senior Center, which is located at 1850 Byberry Road in Bensalem.
Meetings are open to the public. A donation of $5 is requested from non-members.
