Designed for Nature Garden Tour shows off native plants

Posted

Native Plants took center stage at the 8th annual Designed for Nature Garden Tour on Saturday, June 15, sponsored by the Bucks County Branch of the Woman’s National Farm & Garden Association (WNF&GA) in partnership with Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve.

Guests and volunteers enjoyed five Doylestown-area residential gardens featuring native plants and creative water management. The 2024 Garden Hosts were Pattie and Bob Carrier, Nancy Deni, Lisa and Michael Moscherosch, Christopher and Helen Round, and Greg and Gianina Nixon.

Many thanks to volunteers and staff from the Friends of the Garden Tour: Bird Town Pennsylvania, the Bucks County Audubon Society, Bucks Beautiful, Penn State’s Master Gardener and Master Watershed Steward programs, and the Doylestown and Lahaska Bookshops.

Proceeds fund scholarships, internships, and other educational opportunities for students aspiring to create sustainable environments for all living things. Visit www.facebook.com/bucksfg.
