The TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program recently distributed free bicycle safety helmets to students in need at Quakertown Elementary School of Quakertown Community School District at the Back To School Ice Cream Social Event on Aug. 24. The free helmet distribution was made possible by a mini grant through Safe Kids Pennsylvania. TMA Bucks is a nonprofit transportation management association designed to promote and coordinate travel demand management strategies to reduce peak-hour traffic congestion and serve as a clearinghouse for transportation policies and programs throughout Bucks County. TMA Bucks also manages the Bucks County Community Traffic Safety Program in partnership with the County of Bucks and the TMA Bucks Foundation.
