The PA Chapter, AAP and PA Immunization Coalition awarding grants to state partners on immunization

Posted

Three local organizations are recipients of grants from the PA Chapter, AAP and PA Immunization Coalition for their support of vaccine access and education.

They are: Bucks County Immunization Coalition (BCIC) – with the mission to improve the immunization rates of Bucks County residents across the lifespan through education, outreach, and partnership; Montgomery County Immunization Coalition (MCIC) – with the mission to promote age appropriate immunizations across the lifespan for all residents of Montgomery county; and PA Polio Survivors Network – polio survivors who are permanently disabled as a result of the effects of a vaccine-preventable disease. They speak passionately about the importance of childhood vaccination.

“We are honored to have been awarded these funds.  We will put them to good use as we strive to become an integral part of the solution. Our message is simple, positive and evidence-based: Vaccines work.”
