Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at  3,202,811

Harrisburg — The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed that as of Sept. 7, the statewide cumulative total cases of COVID-19 is 3,202,811.

There are 2,639,187 confirmed cases and 563,624 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases.

The Pennsylvania death registry reported a cumulative total of 46,831 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules, and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. Wearing a mask is an effective way to reduce the risk of catching or spreading COVID-19.

Numbers by county as of  Sept. 7

  • Bucks County: 141,712 cases and 2,007 deaths
  • Chester County: 107,440 cases and 1,220 deaths
  • Delaware County: 128,448 cases and 1,926 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 101,425 cases and 1,297 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 180,802 cases and 2,433 deaths
  • Northampton County: 90,801 cases and 1,157 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 359,292 cases and 5,266 deaths
