St. Luke’s names medical director for pediatric specialty services

St. Luke’s University Health Network has named Dr. Pamela Abrams its new medical director for pediatric specialty services.

Abrams is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist who has been practicing at St. Luke’s for more than 11 years. A graduate of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, she was one of the first pediatric specialists employed by St. Luke’s and developed the pediatric type 1 diabetes program, which has serviced more than 300 children in our community.

Abrams is also passionate about medical education and has served as the Pediatric Clerkship site director for Temple St. Luke’s School of Medicine.

As pediatric specialty medical director, Abrams is responsible for overseeing all of the medical services, quality and service outcomes within St. Luke’s Pediatric Specialty Division.
