Retiring Old Glory

Posted

As a Flag Ambassador for Comcast’s “Operation Old Glory” program, which retires and replaces worn American flags regardless of whether someone is a customer, Chase Symons, a network maintenance technician at Comcast, noticed the American flag outside his child’s daycare at Grandview Hospital was tattered and worn. He jumped into action, collecting the old flag for proper retirement and replacing it with a new one. Chase’s shop has helped retire and replace over 100 flags in the area. With the new flag flying are Symons and his family.
