Plein air painting returns to Phillips’ Mill this summer with seasoned artist Christopher Monteiro leading artists of all skill levels in many media on the grounds of the Mill by Primrose Creek.

He will provide demonstrations as well as individual guidance throughout each session. Artists may choose to attend all or selected sessions offered every other Thursday, June 13 through Aug. 22 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Over the past few years, Monteiro has been teaching classes locally in oil, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media, and pen and ink. Visit his website to see his work at www.christophermonteiro.com.

Participants are expected to bring their own supplies, including an easel, a chair, and water. Each session is $18 for members of Phillips’ Mill Community Association, $25 for nonmembers.
