Over the Fourth of July weekend Pennridge produced some fireworks of its own, scoring 22 total runs in a Sunday doubleheader with Nor-Gwyn at Ben Hostelly Field.
Pennridge, who won Game 1, 10-0, and Game 2, 12-1, stayed hot on Monday, putting up seven runs in a shutout of Doylestown for their 13th – and league leading – win of the season.
