Posted

Join the Delaware River Greenway Partnership for a picturesque day of bike riding and paddling along the scenic canal on Sunday, June 5.

The event is family friendly; no paddling experience is necessary. The $20 registration fee covers the kayak, life jackets and paddle.

The 3-mile paddle portion at the Bulls Island Boat Launch into the canal begins with 30 minutes for paddle instruction, adjusting boats, and fitting life vests. Paddlers land at Prallsville Mills, then drive back to Bulls Island to pick up bikes.

Participants must provide their own bicycle and a helmet is required. Kayak, life jackets, and paddle will be provided as part of the registration fee. Children must be 12 years or older and accompanied by an adult.
