Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish dedicates monument to religion teachers

On Saturday, Nov. 6, before the 5 p.m. Vigil Mass, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Doylestown dedicated a lasting monument to honor the parish teachers and catechists who have continued to teach throughout the pandemic.
The plaque reads in part:

“Nothing great is ever achieved without much enduring.” Saint Catherine of Siena
“Our parishioners will be forever indebted to the heroic leadership of our School Principal, Dawn Parker, and our Director of Religious Education, Cindy Balceniuk, whose steadfast perseverance ensured our children’s education and nurtured their love for Jesus Christ.”
