Morven hosts Fourth of July Jubilee

Morven Museum and Garden will host numerous July events, including a Fourth of July Jubilee from noon to 3 p.m. at the home-turned-museum of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, 55 Stockton St, Princeton, N.J.

The museum features an exhibit of 1960s innovations made in New Jersey: Ma Bell: The Mother of Invention in New Jersey, which includes the original TelStar satellite and more.

The celebration will feature the Arts Council of Princeton’s Jasper Johns inspired American Flag activity, the Historical Society of Princeton’s 1960s Princeton adventure activity, live dancing in the gardens with the Luminarium Dance Company and live music from the 1960s and beyond, including the hit “TelStar,” with the Green Planet Band.

Family tickets are available for $25 to view the museum galleries, the gardens are open; food and trucks will be available, including Kona Ice and Potato. Call Morven’s Museum Shop at 609-924-8144 for information.
