The Doylestown Tigers (6-4) extended their win streak to three in emphatic fashion on Monday night with an 11-1 win over Souderton.

Ernie Sanchez and Colin Lydon both knocked in a pair as part of a seven-run first inning.

Doylestown beat Nor-Gwyn 3-2 at War Memorial last Monday and made it two in a row with a 9-1 victory at Pennridge last Thursday. It avenged Pennridge’s opening night victory over the Tigers.

A pair of Central Bucks rivals turned teammates this summer – East’s Mike Scafidi and West’s Sanchez – combined to handcuff Nor-Gwyn. West’s Michael Graban sparkled on the mound against Pennridge.

Doylestown, currently tied for third in the nine-team Bux-Mont League, headed to first-place Quakertown in Tuesday’s late game, which ended after the Herald went to print.
