The Council Rock North girls soccer team edged district rival Council Rock South 1-0 last Thursday for its 10th win of the season.
Sara Tyler scored in the final minute of the match to secure the Unity Cup for CR North, ranked No. 18 in District One standings at the start of this week. CR South held the 21st spot following the loss. Twenty-eight teams will qualify for the District One Class 4A tournament, which begins Oct. 24.
Council Rock North closed out the regular season Wednesday against Pennsbury and Council Rock South traveled to Harry S. Truman for its final regular season contest. Results of both games were unavailable at press time.
