Ignite Fitness hosts Pink Out grand opening

Posted

Community members are invited to the Oct. 30 Pink Out grand opening of Ignite Fitness in support of Unite for HER, a nonprofit organization that provides breast cancer support and services.
The charity has been selected by event co-host Daughters’ Defense. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m., followed by sample fitness classes, raffle baskets and merchandise for sale to support this cause.
What began as a new venture during the pandemic for co-owners Chris Lanctot and Amy Haas has transformed into a new 4,500-square-foot facility in the heart of Newtown. Ignite Fitness offers a wide variety of group exercise classes, providing members with the ultimate fitness experience in a welcoming “at-home” environment.

Lanctot also has a personal tie to cancer. Not only is she a longtime family friend of the late Denise Anhalt, but her sister and sister-in-law, Kelly Lambert and Joann Perotti, are both cancer survivors and grateful recipients of Unite for HER services.
Visit the facility’s Facebook page, Ignite Fitness Newtown, for more details.
Ignite Fitness is located at 36 Richboro Road, Newtown.
