Body pulled from river in Bristol Twp

Posted

Authorities are trying to identify a man whose body was recovered from the Delaware River in Bristol Township Monday morning.

In a Monday statement, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said the man was “thought to be” the person who disappeared in the Delaware River near the 6600 block of Radcliffe Street in Bristol Township on June 27. But she could not definitively say that was the case.

“His identity and race are currently unknown,” Buck’s statement read. “His identity and the cause and manner of his death continue to be under investigation.”

When pulled from the river on the 6200 block of Radcliffe Street Monday, the body was dressed in a gray, green and tan camouflage zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information related to the investigation is urged to contact Bristol Township Police at 267-812-3000 or the coroner’s office at 267-880-5040.
