Plastic surgeon joins Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic

Dr. John G. Fernandez has joined the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic (THMA) recently announced.
Fernandez is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in microsurgery and lymphedema surgery, including vascularized lymph node transplant and lymphaticovenular bypass. Based at St. Mary, Fernandez will also see patients at two other THMA hospitals: Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia and at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby.
Fernandez is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a fellow at the American College of Surgeons.

He works to restore function, appearance and self-confidence through various surgical and non-surgical procedures. He has specialized training in microsurgery and extensive experience in reconstruction with perforator flaps, including DIEP flaps and other flaps for breast reconstruction.
Fernandez lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and three children.
