Posted

Aidan MacIlvaine of Doylestown will receive the rank of Eagle Scout on June 4 at his Court of Honor ceremony at Doylestown Presbyterian Church.

MacIlvaine is the son of Nicholas and Christine, and the brother of Airman Faith Iris MacIlvaine.

He is a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 24 of Doylestown.

To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges and demonstrate leadership and community service by organizing and carrying out an Eagle Project. For his project, MacIlvaine completed the restoration of Goat Farm Bridge and installed a mirror on the Delaware Canal Tow Path.

MacIlvaine is a junior at Central Bucks High School East, where he is member of NHS, Patriot Players, Phantasmagoria, Key Club, and Model UN.
