Comedian Jessica Kirson will appear at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St., Newtown, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5.
General admission tickets are $20 on the JJComedy website. The show is for mature audiences only.
Kirson was recently named “Best Female Comic” by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs and received the Nightlife Award for “Best Stand-up Comedian.”
She has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “The View” and “Kevin Can Wait” and is a regular contributor to the “Howard Stern Show,” where she produces and stars in prank calls.
Kirson’s comedic character videos have racked up more than 30 million views on social media. Those ridiculous characters feature prominently in a stand-up act that’s equal parts silly and vulnerable, but always relatable.
