The Archbishop Wood boys basketball team is moving on to the PIAA Class 6A quarterfinals after defeating District One champion Lower Merion 66-64 Wednesday at Bensalem.
Wood (18-8), the third-place team from District 12, takes on District One’s ninth-place team Spring-Ford Saturday at Norristown, with the winner facing Parkland or Roman Catholic in the semifinals Tuesday.
