Young artists display talent in Phillips’ Mill exhibition

The 11th Phillips’ Mill Youth Art Exhibition, featuring the art of students from 23 schools, opened on Jan. 28.

Zoya Gupta of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South won Best In Show for her painting, ‍“Dislocation.”

Also garnering top honors in their categories were Annabelle Schu of Council Rock High School South for Painting, for “Bubbles”; Anagha Kannurpatti from Council Rock High School North for Works on Paper, for “Illumination”; Jack Weber of Notre Dame High School for 3-Dimensional Works, for “Splitting River”; Meghan Smith from Hunterdon Central Regional High School for Photography, for “Grey November”; and Summer Layre from Central Bucks High School East for Digital Art, for “Self-Portrait.”

The exhibition, on display at the historic Mill in New Hope weekends through Feb. 18, features paintings, works on paper, photography, digital art and three-dimensional works. Artwork and a full list of awards can be viewed online at phillipsmillexhibition.org.
