Wolf Administration hosts vaccine clinic for employees and public

Posted

Today, the Department of Health partnered with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to offer a COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinic to commonwealth employees and the public in Harrisburg.

“Vaccines are a scientifically proven defense against illnesses and vitally important to a person’s overall health,” said Pennsylvania Physician General Denise Johnson.

The clinic was held from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission headquarters, 1601 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg. Free parking was available, and no registration was necessary.

The clinic offered both Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines and boosters, including the pediatric vaccine. Flu vaccines were available for anyone 6 months and older.

The Wolf Administration continues to urge Pennsylvanians to get vaccinated against COVID-19. To find a vaccine provider near you, visit vaccines.gov.
