Wine on the Waterfront returns to Washington Crossing Historic Park

Posted

Tickets are now on sale for Wine on the Waterfront, a wine tasting event being held 3-7 p.m. Saturday, July 29 on the banks of the Delaware River in Washington Crossing Historic Park (Pa.).

Tickets are $45 per person and are available at WashingtonCrossingPark.org/events. Only 850 tickets will be sold, including some designated driver tickets.

Wine on the Waterfront will feature tastings of dozens of wines from Pennsylvania and New Jersey wineries, including Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery, Boyd’s Cardinal Hollow Winery, Crossing Vineyards & Winery, Grace Winery, Mount Nittany Vineyard & Winery, Rebel Hive Meadery, Rose Bank Winery, Sand Castle Winery, Manoff Market Cidery (new), and Unionville Vineyards. Roots to River Farm will also attend and offer its craft aperitivo, a wine-based drink infused with herbs and bitters.

The event will also feature jazz vocalist and trombonist Hailey Brinnel and her quartet. Brinnel is a rising jazz star who recently released her latest album, “Beautiful Tomorrow.” Just 27 years old, Brinnel has already performed at acclaimed venues throughout America and Europe. She was a finalist in the 2021 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and was named a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (jazz category). Brinnel’s debut album, ”I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles,” peaked at No. 13 on Amazon’s Jazz New Release chart.

Tickets for Wine on the Waterfront will not be sold at the gate. Food and wine (bottles and cases) will be available for purchase during the event, including food vendors Sol Bowl, Harvest Pizza, and Goodnoes Ice Cream. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own picnic food, blankets and chairs to relax along the riverbank. All ticket holders must be 21 or older. IDs will be checked at the gate. No pets, children or babies are allowed.

Wine on the Waterfront is presented by the Friends of Washington Crossing Park and sponsored by Crown Holding Incorporated. All proceeds support educational and historical programming at the park.
