Who counts the vote can choose the result

Posted

Josef Stalin is reputed to have said, “It doesn’t really matter who or how many people vote. The important issue is who counts the vote.”
Republicans in many states are trying to control who counts the vote or, if unsuccessful at that, control who has the power to decertify the vote count and choose their own result.
What a disturbing thought, that any political party in our democracy will have the power to disenfranchise an entire bloc of voters from a city, county or state and deprive those voters of their constitutional right to have a free and fair election.

It is mind-boggling what they are trying to do.
Don’t let them do it.
