Total cumulative COVID-19 cases in Pennsylvania at 3,006,257

Harrisburg — The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed that as of June 30, the statewide cumulative total cases of COVID-19 is 3,006,257.

There are 2,483,301 confirmed cases and 522,956 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases.

The Pennsylvania death registry reported a cumulative total of 45,766 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules, and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. Wearing a mask is an effective way to reduce the risk of catching or spreading COVID-19.

Numbers by county as of June 30

  • Bucks County: 134,394 cases and 1,946 deaths
  • Chester County: 101,370 cases and 1,188 deaths
  • Delaware County: 121,138 cases and 1,897 deaths
  • Lehigh County: 96,084 cases and 1,273 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 170,052 cases and 2,379 deaths
  • Northampton County: 85,862 cases and 1,124 deaths
  • Philadelphia: 335,643 cases and 5,173 deaths

The Department of Health continues to provide the public with extensive and frequently updated data on both the COVID-19 dashboard and the vaccine dashboard. Both dashboards provide an interactive experience for the user to review statewide and local-level data updated daily.

The department will continue to provide data via online dashboards; however,  the dashboards will be updated on a weekly basis.
