Waters Edge Winery & Bistro of Doylestown celebrates grand opening

Posted

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro of Doylestown, a new craft winery and neighborhood eatery, is officially open following a weekend of celebratory grand opening events, including a special guest appearance by celebrity chef Robert Irvine.

Led by husband-and-wife duo and Bucks County residents Eric and Nicole Landolfi, the winery features an extensive wine menu with dozens of new and Old World wines, expansive food pairing options, private event capabilities, a wine club and more.

“We are overwhelmed by the incredible support from the community during our opening week,” said Eric Landolfi. “Our vision is to create a destination in Doylestown that offers a unique wine tasting experience which caters to wine novices and experts alike. We look forward to welcoming our friends, neighbors and visitors to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with high-quality, locally crafted wines.”

On Wednesday, March 6, the winery kicked off its anticipated opening weekend welcoming friends and family to experience the very first pours and bites. Irvine was in attendance celebrating the couple’s newest venture and shared a toast honoring Eric’s father, a Korean War veteran. More than 60 local dignitaries were in attendance on March 7 for an official ribbon-cutting held in conjunction with the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce. The winery officially debuted to the public on March 9. The winery hosted more than 260 guests throughout its grand opening weekend.

At Waters Edge Winery & Bistro of Doylestown, all wines are crafted in-house, ranging from classic selections to lesser-known grape varietals grown in the further-reaching vineyards of Armenia, Italy, France and New Zealand. To accompany its wine and beverage menus, food offerings include a selection of tapas, charcuterie boards, sandwiches and paninis, flatbreads and desserts, several of which highlight Eric’s Italian heritage.

For wine enthusiasts, the winery offers exclusive wine club memberships with four different options ranging from $40 to $90 per month. Membership perks include early access to new wines, discounts on wine purchases, complimentary tastings, invitations to special events and much more.
