Warminster Rotary Club and Giant Supermarket of Warminster are teaming up for a spring food collection drive to benefit Warminster Food Bank, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 13, at Giant Supermarket of Warminster, 720 W. Street Road, Warminster.
Area residents are invited to participate, and shoppers will be provided with a list of items needed at the store’s entrances. Items collected will help provide monthly groceries and supplies for families in need in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Donations of cash or Giant gift cards will also be accepted.
Members of the Warminster Rotary Club and volunteers from the Food Bank will be on hand to work with Giant employees and Giant customers to collect nonperishable food items.
The Warminster Food Bank serves over 12,000 people a year in Bucks and Montgomery counties. The Warminster Rotary Club Foundation regularly raises funds to support the Warminster Food Bank and is the custodian of the Warminster Rotary Benson Campbell Fund. A portion of this fund is dedicated to the Warminster Food Bank.
