Walk in love

Posted

I loved reading the positive guest opinion from Aarati Martino who shared about her recent experience meeting, listening to, and learning from new people (Let’s hold the door open for everyone, June 1).

In a culture of hurried people who struggle with depression and anxiety, we can benefit our souls so much by reaching out and finding caring community, being a listening ear, allowing others a voice, being a good friend.

Reading her guest opinion brought to mind something my young teen daughter shared with me years ago. She had read some words in an ancient text that she wanted to tattoo on her foot as a visual reminder. They are beautiful, inspiring, life changing if you choose to follow them.

Walk in love.

Kimberlee Keiser,  New Britain

Editor’s Note: Aarati Martino is a candidate for Central Bucks School Board.
