’Tis the season for apple picking

Apple season is underway at Solebury Orchards, and those visiting through Sunday can pick honeycrisp and crimson crisp varieties.

During weekends in September, October and the first weekend of November, there are wagon rides through the orchards, located at 3325 Creamery Road, New Hope, for apple picking. Reservations are required for apple picking on Saturdays and Sundays in September and October. Visit soleburyorchards.com.

In addition to Solebury Orchards, a number of farms in Bucks County are offering apple picking this fall, including Styer Orchard in Middletown Township, Tabora Farm & Orchard/Rustic Valley Orchards in Hilltown Township, and Shady Brook Farm in Lower Makefield.
