Girl Scouts Anna von Hohen and Chloe Radbill recently completed the Eliza Taylor Pollinator Garden at Washington Crossing Historic Park.

Members of Troop 226, the pair of eighth graders spent over 60 hours completing the garden to earn the Silver Award. The project was aided by donations from Marazzo’s Manor Lane Garden Center in Newtown, Kings Indian Head Farm in Newtown, Seasons Garden Center in Washington Crossing, Gasper Landscape in Richboro, Delaware Quarries in Langhorne & Shady Brook Farm in Yardley.

The girls will hold a grand opening for the garden, including a learning session, nature walk, garden unveiling and ribbon cutting, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 26.

The garden is located alongside the barn next to the General Washington Pavilion.
