Tinicum Civic Association names 2024 Board of Directors & Trustees

Posted

The Tinicum Civic Association (TCA), a volunteer nonprofit organization headquartered in the historic Stover Mill in Erwinna, announced this year’s Board of Directors and Trustees.

After an extremely successful six-year run as President, Sue Walsh passes the baton to Lary Brandt, and she has assumed the position of Vice President. Remaining in their roles as Treasurer and Recording Secretary are Janine Black and Dianna Sinovic, respectively. Evelyn Aherne will be taking over as Corresponding Secretary.

Continuing as Trustees are Hannie Banister, Ros Cahill, John Cole, Tex Enoch, David Hewitt, Mike Kauffman, Stana Lennox, Ethan Perry, John Ramelli and Erica Shankland.

Filling a newly created role with the TCA, Ethan Perry will act as trustee/historian/archivist, stewarding the rich history of the 192-year-old Stover Mill and the Tinicum community. Melissa Bottelier will return as coordinator of the Tinicum Arts Festival.

The Tinicum Civic Association’s mission is to encourage artistic talent, support community well-being and preserve the Stover Mill on River Road. In 2023, through its premier fund-raising efforts – the Tinicum Arts Festival and the Stover Mill Art Gallery – the TCA was able to donate $69,000 to local nonprofit community organizations.

The Tinicum Arts Festival is scheduled for July 13 and 14, in Tinicum Park. The Stover Mill Art Gallery will launch its 2024 season of monthly exhibits on April 6 and conclude with its biennial Juried Art Exhibition in October.
