The Tinicum Civic Association (TCA) held its “Almost” Spring Social Sunday, March 19, to honor and thank volunteers for their support with its premier fund-raising efforts – the Tinicum Arts Festival and the art exhibits at the Stover Mill Gallery.
With nearly 100 in attendance (including volunteers, artists, community members and representatives from township government), the TCA shared that it gave $67,500 last year to community organizations – bringing donations since 2000 to over $772,000.
The 72nd Tinicum Arts Festival will be held on July 8 and 9 in Tinicum Park, located on River Road in Erwinna. The Stover Mill Gallery’s 63rd season of monthly exhibits will premiere on April 8 and run through October.
The Board of Trustees is grateful for the dozens of volunteers and all the patrons that make its mission to maintain the historic Stover Mill and support nonprofit groups serving Tinicum and the surrounding community a reality.
