Steven J. Antos of Stockton, N.J., died on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa. He was 63 years old.

Born in Camden, N.J., Steve graduated from William Tennent High School in Warminster, Pa. He was a project manager for Silfies Masonry in Allentown for the past 10 years and earlier worked for McCarthy Masonry and Concrete in Quakertown, Pa.

Steve was dedicated to his family and his church. He was the husband of Susan Jean Foss. Together Steve and Sue were active members of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Lambertville. There was no task or responsibility at the church that Steve was not ready to take on. He served as a lay leader, led bible study, and served on the administrative council. He readily assisted with church upkeep and repairs. As a music lover he played bass guitar and drums at church services and socials. At the congregation’s annual St. Patrick’s Day party Steve joined his friends Art Banker and Barry Wiseman to entertain as the “Irish Jigaloes.” He kept close to his high school friends and often played music with them at John and Peter’s in New Hope. He never missed an opportunity to share his love of music with those he cherished. You could not have a better friend than Steve. He enjoyed fishing on the river and the canal. As animal lovers Steve and Sue always had pets, most recently their dog Skye and their cats Harry and Lloyd, part of a long line of four legged friends.

Steve is survived by his cherished wife Susan J. Antos; his brother A. Joseph Antos and his wife Leslie of Wilmington, N.C.; his nieces and nephew Alexandra and Danielle Antos, Michael Foss and Julianna Foss; his brothers-in-law and their wives Henry and Kate Foss of Corning, N.Y., and Gregory and Angie Foss of Medford, N.J. Steve is also survived by his many friends, associates and his church family at Centenary United Methodist. Steve was the son of the late Ann Dignan Antos and Alfred J. Antos Jr. and the son-in-law of the late Phyllis J. and Henry “Hank” R. Foss.
