St. Luke’s to present findings of 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment

St. Luke’s University Health Network recently completed its triennial Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and will present its findings in a series of public presentations.

The community is encouraged to attend the sessions and participate in the discussions.

As part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, nonprofit hospitals are required to conduct a CHNA every three years to maintain tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The goal of the assessment is to identify critical health disparities faced by populations within St. Luke’s service areas. The assessments state health priorities unveiled by community stakeholders, hospital professionals and public health experts.

Additionally, regional implementation plans will be crafted to build collaborative partnerships to determine the allocation of resources to address the specified health needs.St. Luke’s will be presenting the CHNA community meetings at the following dates and times (this event is free however registration is required):

St. Luke’s Quakertown and Upper Bucks Campuses: Oct. 11, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Strayer Middles School; St. Luke’s Bethlehem Campus: Oct. 25, 9 to 10:30 a.m., virtual through Microsoft TEAMS; St. Luke’s Sacred Heart and Allentown Campuses: Oct. 31, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Hospital Auditorium; St. Luke’s Monroe Campus: Nov. 14, 10:30 a.m. to noon, virtual through Microsoft TEAMS; St. Luke’s Carbon and Lehighton Campuses: Nov. 16, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., virtual through Microsoft TEAMS; St. Luke’s Warren Campus: 2022 Annual Report to the Community: Dec. 5, 5 to 6 p.m., virtual through Microsoft TEAMS.
