Solebury Historical’s Impression-Sips are back

Posted

The Solebury Township Historical Society (STHS) is bringing back the popular BYO painting parties, Impression-Sips!

Inspired by the works of the Pennsylvania impressionists, this season’s line-up is as follows: Saturday, Feb. 10 – “Winter Creek,” inspired by Edward Redfield; and Saturday, March 10 – “April in Jericho,” inspired by Harry Leith Ross.

Under the direction of Solebury artists Melody Hunt and Sandy Vallely, Impression-Sips raises funds for STHS and fosters a strong sense of community with lasting memories, including an original, priceless piece of art. Space is limited; early sign-ups are recommended.

Each session is $65 a person, $55 for members, and takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the one-room Solebury schoolhouse. Appetizers, along with all art supplies, are provided for participants to create their masterpieces. Simply bring your creative energy, and if you choose, bring an adult beverage of your choice.

To register, visit the STHS website at www.soleburyhistory.org. Renew your membership and reserve your seat at SIPS for $100.

Impression-Sips is made possible through sponsorship with Tinsman Bros. of Lumberville, McCaffrey’s Food Markets, Manoff Market Gardens of Solebury and Giant FoodStores.
