The Newtown Business Association’s annual Business Expo will be virtual and live this year.
The Expo will kick off at an NBA member event on Sept. 22, and the virtual booths will go live on newtownexpo.com from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, with three “Lunch and Learn” events for members and nonmembers alike.
The seven-day event will feature NBA member businesses highlighting their “best offers of the year” on their products and services, available to Expo visitors only, and offering an opportunity for anyone from far and wide to take advantages of those offers from their phone, tablet or laptop – anywhere.
Register early for the three Lunch and Learn events being offered during the NBA’s Expo Week. Each lunch will feature a panel of experts that will discuss a variety of “Marketing 101” topics from direct mail to social media to SEO best practices. The cost is $10 for NBA members, $20 for nonmembers.
Each panel will take place on the Bucks County Community College campus and lunch will be provided for all registrants. Further details and registration are on the NBA website newtownba.org
Dozens and dozens of businesses will be participating, ranging from retail and dining to professional services. Visitors to the virtual Expo will be able to “roam” through the virtual “booths” to view products and services of the exhibitors, with links to their websites and social media and great deals, all while supporting local businesses for free and participating in daily raffles and contests.
The mission of the NBA is to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business, thereby enhancing the economic vitality of the community for member businesses through networking, education, community involvement and coop advertising opportunities. Any business that is located in Newtown or conducts business in Newtown on a regular basis is eligible to become a member of the NBA; businesses can join now for the half year 50% membership fee discount of $87.50.
