Posted

Bucks County Controller Pamela Van Blunk said March 18, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada recently awarded Bucks County with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2022.

The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial history and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by the Controller’s Office and Bucks County. Van Blunk and the Controller’s Office are responsible for preparing the county’s annual financial report. You can find a copy at https://www.buckscounty.gov/334/Audits-Reports.
