Doylestown held its own as it faced a deep-rostered squad and persevered for the victory against Wilkes-Barre, 17-7. Wilkes-Barre opened the match with the first try and successful conversion. However, Colin Patrick (flanker) and Brian Stella (outside center) each scored, followed with one successful conversion made by Jeremy Ault (fly-half), closing the first half Doylestown 12, Wilkes-Barre 7.

The second half went back and forth across the field, with no scores on either side. Moments before the final whistle, Ault closed the game with a try to seal the victory.

The Dragons play West Chester University Men’s Rugby Club on Saturday, March 25, on the home pitch at Maennerchor Field, 3650 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
