Road work schedule changes

Due to a change in schedule, this weekend’s planned ramp closure from Aramingo Avenue to southbound Interstate 95 has been canceled, PennDOT said.

The work has been rescheduled for next weekend. The new schedule is as follows:

Paving operations and expansion joint repair will occur on Interstate 295 in Bucks County and Interstate 95 in Philadelphia under a $44.6 million bridge improvement project to perform high-priority repairs on several structures on I-295, I-95 and Interstate 476 in Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Tuesday, May 30, through Friday, June 1, from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and/or westbound I-295 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Business U.S. 1/Route 413 (Penndel/Levittown) interchanges in Bristol and Middletown townships for paving;

From 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 9, to 11:59 p.m. Saturday, June 10, the ramp from Aramingo Avenue to southbound I-95 will be closed and detoured for expansion joint repair on the southbound I-95 ramps for expansion joint repair.

Motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour routes.
