Right to speak freely reveals who we are

Posted

Anyone who drives route 413 in Buckingham Township between 202 and 232 is likely familiar with the interchangeable flags on a residence not far past Buckingham Elementary School, each one a variation on the theme of support for right wing principles.

To the person who lives in the house, the fact that you chose to fly your flag depicting an AR-15 a week after the event in Uvalde, Texas, speaks loudly to the nature of your character. You are fortunate to have been born in a country in which others have sacrificed their lives to preserve your right to do so.

During Word War ll, Stalin told Winston Churchill that free speech was dangerous. We don’t take that view here, though. In this country you have the right, by both word and action, to reveal to all around you what manner of man you are.
